The COVID-19 pandemic has made personal computers more essential than ever. As people work from home, learn from home, and stay entertained at home, owning a powerful device makes a huge difference. As part of CES 2021, HP is unveiling a massive lineup of new PCs that are “designed to power hybrid work environments and growing personal creative studios.”

Ultimately, the lineup has something for everyone. The HP Elite Dragonfly G2 is a sleek business convertible that also happens to be the lightest of its kind in the world. HP’s new Elite Folio features powerhouse performance and 5G capabilities with an extended battery. The EliteBook 840 G8 Aero is perfect for multi-tasking professionals.

These are just a few of the devices that consumers can expect to hit the market this year. Thanks to HP’s latest PC innovations, it will be easier than ever to be productive in a variety of environments.

Sleek and Powerful

Few things are more satisfying than working on an ultra-thin laptop. A PC with snappy responsiveness and capable performance that’s packaged in a sleek body is truly a joy. That’s exactly what the new HP Elite Dragonfly G2 brings to the table.

HP bills it as the world’s lightest compact business convertible with a starting weight of less than one kilogram (2.2 pounds). The device is constructed with high-quality recycled materials, including plastics that would have ended up in the ocean.

The laptop boasts Intel’s 11th Gen Core processors as well as Intel integrated graphics. The Elite Dragonfly G2 is compatible with either 5G or gigabit 4G LTE, making it a perfect device for working on the go. Meanwhile, it has Tile tracking features built-in, so you’ll never have to worry about misplacing your laptop. The HP Elite Dragonfly G2 is expected to launch this month, although its price still remains a mystery.

Also coming to light during CES was the HP EliteBook 840 G8 Aero. This is a PC that is designed with multi-taskers in mind. It’s ready to handle anything thrown at it throughout the day.

Like the Dragonfly G2, it is manufactured with recycled materials, has 5G capabilities, and runs on Intel’s 11th Gen Core processors. Although the EliteBook 840 G8 Aero is a bit heavier, it still weighs less than 2.5 pounds. To make collaboration easier, it features a world-facing third microphone as well as top-firing speakers and AI-based audio.

On top of this, the PC has a number of security features. One of the coolest is HP’s Sure View Reflect. This protects sensitive contents from prying eyes by keeping the screen visible only to the person in front of it. The EliteBook 840 G8 Aero will launch in March. Its price also remains unknown.

All the Best Features

Those looking for a device that brings together the best of both (or all three) worlds should consider the HP Elite Folio. The new PC features the best elements of a laptop, tablet, and phone all in a compact package. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 5G chip and has support for both Wi-Fi 6 and 5G.

The Elite Folio’s powerful battery delivers 24.5 hours of local video playback. For those looking to collaborate on-the-go, it features a 76-degree field of view webcam. That will make Zoom calls more immersive than ever. Like the EliteBook, this device also has HP Sure View Reflect. Finally, the Elite Folio ships with a Slim Active Pen for quick note taking and sketching. It is expected to launch in February and the pricing details are still unannounced.
